Anoushka Tamhane (MIT 2028) is a Course 1-12 (Climate Systems Science & Engineering) and Course 14-2 (Mathematical Economics) double major. Growing up in Cupertino, California, she was very involved with state-level climate policy and empowering voices on climate change, from long-running expert climate advocates and scientists to the voices of vulnerable communities. To her, better conversations around campus means students being able to really explore their own perspectives, and means students being energized to create change, both on campus scale and in the wider world.
