Overview
We are searching for a web programmer and designer to help us design and develop a custom website for the realtalk@MIT program. This site will serve as a dedicated online hub for MIT’s dialogue network, developed in collaboration with CCC’s affiliated non-profit, Cortico. The site will be built on Webflow or Squarespace, incorporating custom code to ensure a user-friendly experience aligned with the program’s branding.
Qualifications

Proficiency in web design and development, including experience with Figma, Webflow, Squarespace, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, or strong desire to learn.
- Basic knowledge of branding and graphic design, and/or strong desire to learn.

Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively and integrate feedback from various stakeholders.
Responsibilities

Collaborate directly with MIT CCC’s Design Lead to create and refine the realtalk@MIT website prototype on Figma that aligns with the branding and mission of the program.

Implement the website design on Webflow or Squarespace, using both the platform’s tools and custom HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to enhance functionality and maintain flexibility.

Respond to design and development feedback from the realtalk@MIT team, iterating on the prototype and the website based on input to ensure it meets user needs and expectations.

Ensure the website is fully functional, responsive, and optimized for various devices and browsers.

Deliver the completed website by the end of the MIT Spring 2025 semester (May 13).
